Worry-free cancellations

To cancel your order, you must let us know via email within 48 hours of your purchase. If you do so, we will provide you with a full refund.

Flat-rate shipping

We offer in-home and doorstep delivery to most anywhere in the continental United States. Plus, we have other delivery options.

In-Home Delivery is our white-glove delivery service. The flat-rate fee to most US locations is $950. Here's how it typically works: In a pre-scheduled 4-hour window during business hours, our delivery partner delivers the boxed or crated furniture to your door, unpacks it, assembles it, and places it in the room of your choice. Our delivery partner disposes of the packing material if you request. Often, this takes 10 to 20 business days after the order leaves our warehouse. You are required to sign for delivery.

Doorstep Delivery is our basic delivery service. The flate-rate fee to most US locations is $475. Here's how it typically works: On a pre-scheduled business day, our delivery partner drops off your boxed or crated furniture to your doorstep, driveway, garage, curb, service area, or loading dock. You are responsible for unpacking the furniture, assembling it, and disposing of the packing material. Often, this takes 10 to 20 business days after the order leaves our warehouse. You are required to sign for the delivery.

Other delivery options: If you live outside the continental US, live in a US area without convenient delivery services, or have unique delivery requirements (i.e., lots of stairs!), just email us the details, and we'll work together.

Easy returns

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not and you notify us via email within seven days of receipt, we will authorize a return and refund.  Please note the following: ​Refunds are reduced by a 15% return fee. Refunds are reduced by the cost of freight and insurance for our delivery. Refunds are reduced by the cost of freight and insurance for your return. Returns must be shipped through our delivery partners and insured through our brokers. We will provide you with the necessary paperwork and have our delivery partner contact you to schedule a pickup. Returns must be picked up by our delivery partner up within 21 days of your receipt of the purchase. Returns must arrive at our warehouse in its original condition. Refunds are processed upon arrival at our Northern California warehouse. Please keep your original packing materials, receipt, and any tags for returns if you are not 100% sure that you're happy with the purchase.

Guaranteed authentic

We warrant that the furniture you purchased from us is Authentic. In this warranty, Authentic means that, at the time of your purchase, an experienced dealer in the type of furniture you purchased is reasonably justified in determining that your furniture is a genuine example, not a copy or forgery, of a work made of the materials, created in the country, and created within the historical period or culture, all as we described to you in writing at the time of sale. ​If, within one year of your purchase a piece of furniture: (a) you determine that the piece of furniture is not authentic, (b) you provide us written, detailed evidence fully supporting your determination that the piece of furniture is not authentic, and (c) we confirm in writing that that we agree with your determination that the piece of furniture is not authentic, then we will refund you the purchase price for that piece of furniture. ​Please note the following: ​We may require you to provide the written opinion of a recognized expert in the type of furniture mutually agreed upon by you and us in advance of our confirmation that the furniture is not authentic. If we have any doubts about this expert's opinion, we reserve the right to obtain additional opinions at our expense. This warranty lasts for only one year after the purchase of a piece of furniture. This warranty is available only to the original purchaser of the furniture as per our records. This warranty is available to the original purchaser only if the original purchaser remains the full owner of the Furniture and only if the furniture is free from any claim, interest, or restriction by anyone else.  This warranty does not apply where scholarship has developed since the date of purchase and led to a change in generally accepted opinion. This warranty does not apply where the furniture is shown not to be authentic by a scientific process which, on the date we first published the product description, was not available or generally accepted for use, or which was unreasonably expensive or impractical, or which was likely to have damaged the furniture. You must return the furniture at your expense to us in the condition it was in at the time of sale. Your only right under this warranty is to cancel the sale and receive a refund of the purchase price paid by you to us for the piece of furniture. We will not be required to pay you more than the purchase price. We will not be liable for any loss of profits or business, loss of opportunity or value, expected savings or interest, cost, damages, expenses, or other expenses.
